Leadership Excellence Pro was founded in Scotland with one straightforward goal: help managers become better leaders without burying them in theory they will never use. We work with mid-size companies, public-sector teams, and growing startups across the United Kingdom.
Our programmes run from half-day workshops to year-long coaching engagements. Every session is built around real situations your team faces, not generic case studies from textbook publishers.
We have delivered over 300 workshops since 2019. Most of our clients come back for a second programme within 18 months, which tells us more than any satisfaction survey could.
The team behind the work includes former operations directors, HR leads, and a behavioural psychologist. That mix matters because leadership problems rarely sit in one department.
Each service can run independently or combine into a longer development path. We tailor scope and duration after an initial conversation with your team.
One-to-one sessions with a senior coach, typically fortnightly over 12 or 24 weeks. We use 360-degree feedback at the start and end so progress is measurable, not anecdotal. Sessions last 75 minutes and can happen in person or by video call.
Full-day or two-day workshops for groups of 8 to 20 people. Topics include delegation under pressure, giving feedback that actually changes behaviour, running meetings that produce decisions, and managing conflict before it escalates. We bring exercises drawn from your own workplace scenarios.
A six-month blended programme for senior managers stepping into director-level roles. Combines coaching, peer learning groups, and two residential retreats. Participants build a strategic initiative during the programme and present it to their board at the end.
Designed for first-time managers in their first 90 days. Four half-day sessions cover the shift from individual contributor to people leader: setting expectations, having difficult conversations, and building trust with a team that used to be your peers.
A facilitated offsite for leadership teams that need to agree on priorities, resolve simmering tensions, or rebuild trust after a restructure. We run a diagnostic survey beforehand so the day addresses what actually matters, not what people are comfortable discussing.
We offer psychometric profiling (Hogan, MBTI, Strengths Profile) combined with structured interviews. The output is a practical development report, not a personality label. Useful before promotions, succession planning, or building a new team.
We follow a clear process so you know what to expect at each stage. No surprises, no scope creep.
"We brought them in to work with our regional managers after a merger. Within three months, our staff engagement scores in those regions climbed by 14 points. The coaches were direct, practical, and genuinely interested in our business."David R., Operations Director, logistics company (Glasgow)
"The new manager programme gave me tools I still use every week. The session on difficult conversations changed how I handle performance reviews entirely. I stopped dreading them."Fiona M., Team Lead, Edinburgh fintech startup
"We have used three different leadership development providers over the past decade. This is the first one where participants asked when the next cohort would start."Janet K., Head of People, NHS trust
Pricing depends on the format, group size, and duration. A single full-day workshop for up to 16 participants starts at around £2,400 plus travel expenses. Executive coaching packages begin at £180 per session. We provide a detailed quote after the discovery call.
Yes. We deliver workshops and coaching across the UK. For teams outside Scotland, we can work on-site at your location or run sessions by video. We have coached leaders in London, Manchester, Bristol, and Belfast over the past two years.
Most of our clients have between 50 and 2,000 employees. We have also worked with smaller firms going through rapid growth where the founders needed to shift from doing everything themselves to leading through others.
We have delivered programmes in healthcare, financial services, technology, construction, and the public sector. During the diagnostic phase we learn enough about your context to make every exercise and example relevant to your people.
We agree on measurable objectives at the start. Depending on the programme, we track changes in 360-degree feedback scores, staff engagement survey results, retention rates, or specific behavioural indicators observed by line managers. We present a written evaluation report at the end.
All of our coaches are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at PCC or MCC level. Several hold chartered psychologist status with the British Psychological Society. Each coach has at least ten years of experience in senior management roles before moving into coaching.
